I saw this picture, taken 2 months ago, but I'm not sure if it is not the same male as photographed this morning. Hope it is a different male.

Unfortunately, no date was given for that photo, presumably of Honest Face, when I first saw it before posting it. If my memory serves me correctly, 3 out of 4 of the males were sighted recently from those latest pictures.

This isn't the Mantimahle male referred as 'Honest face'. He is referred as Orange-maned. He is still alive and was sighted a few weeks ago with a prideide of 17 lions

All three Mantimahle males were sighted recently. Still looking good for their age.

Yes you are right, i got confused by his "darker" mane on that photo:

He can be easily ID by little scar on his left cheek (which Honest Face also had) , as well as tattered left ear.

"Honest Face" is this guy, in my opinion most beautiful of Mantimahles when they where in prime years :

When was he last seen? Early - mid 2020?

The second male  of the right side in the last pics is the dominant Mantimahle male and in the left side is Honest Face. I don't remember when he was last seen. Although, early 2020 sounds accurate.
