There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The nine Sweni Lion Cubs in the road close to the bridge over the Sweni river on the H1-3 South of Satara Rest-camp in Kruger National Park.
They look lost and bewildered.

They are sons of Mluwathi males from Talamati breakaway I believe? I dont think they are the Selati sons

These are the Talamati young males fathered by the Northern Avoca males.

This means they were seen in Kruger, which is far from their core territory in Northern SS. They must be wandering a lot

Oops, wrong thread! No, they were seen in Northern Sabi Sand. Apologises.

Don't worry, the post was moved to Sabi Sands thread

These males are a coalition found near Satara Camp in the Kruger National Park.

I have rarely seen a coalition with such robust individuals.

Looks like the Sweni males. They were a formidable coalition when they were still three

Looks like more a sighting taken in Serengeti/Botswana somewhere around those regions instead of Kruger.

I dont think that lioness is an adult. That skewes perception of size quite a bit.
