There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Unfortunately, there is no update on this Mopani male since he received treatment for horrific snare injuries. But that doesn't mean he has passed away. Just no confirmed sighting of him since.

Hi guys. Just to update, This news about Shimuwini/Mopani male has been taken out of context, There is no update about him since his first treatment. I have been talking with my great friend Charlie from @EverseenSA. The information  of the Mopani male isn't 100% confirmed yet, If not, just a rumour so far
Regards: Timbavati

I first heard the news about the possible death of one of the Mopani Males on your youtube channel. Your content is incredible and your channel is one of the most informative platforms out there. So thank you for taking the time to always add info and timestamps on your footage.
Been watching your channel since its inception, and it continues to improve & evolve thanks to your hard work.

Casper - 1/4 Shishagaan young males seen near Satara - 18 Jul 2021. Mating with female, another female was with them. Was being closely followed by 2 other darker males which kept a reasonable distance.
