We came across these 2 lionesses from the Nshawu Pride with their 8 playful young cubs finishing off a buffalo calf near Mopani in the Kruger National Park. The 2 big pride males had already finished feeding.

It was incredible to see the cubs playing around and learning with whatever leftovers they could get their paws on while practicing hunting skills for the future. There is so much going on in this sighting with the endless energy of the 8 cubs, 1 of the 2 big male lions eventually decides to join in and see what's going on and performs the flehmen grimace.

A cool video of three lionesses (probably a mother and her 2 daughters) of the Kumana Pride bringing down a huge old Buffalo Bull.

Exactly, he was ousted by Jock males, he had 2 sons, but 1 disappeared in 2018.

Mo in the company of two lionesses, roaring to let the Mjejane pride know he's around. Really he shouldn't have done that- very risky! He should have kept quiet for his own safety.
