There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I think males within a coalition know full well what state that coalition is in, that's why they run to aid each other in fighting instead of every lion for himself. That would defeat the purpose of a coalition if they aren't acting as a unit. They clearly stayed in mejaine to hold the tiny piece they seemed to consider their territory with the lone lioness. It back-fired but that just tells you the vurhamis weren't the smartest lions and refused to leave that area altogether even after multiple casualties. Most coalitions would have seen what they were about to mess with after the first casualty would have moved else where. The mejaines aren't ross males or northern avocas, they are a couple tiers higher.
