They are young male lions, but I want to say Talamatie male lions? The last male lion I thought maybe but he looks too young. lions disappear then change. Some reason on the last picture the color and look reminded me of male lions with Talamatie lionesses maybe relative of Ximunguwe, Talamatie?

Yes, but this is not 5th, this is Orange Mane, father of 2 PCMs (by the looks).

Are you sure he is ?

I read he is 5th Mantimahle, but I don't know. IIRC "5th Mantimahle" was a little younger than his brothers (I may be wrong)

Yes, he's Orange Mane. I think the post meant the last remaining member of the coalition aka the 5th since there were 5 of them, I don't think the author of the post was even aware that one of the Mantimahle was actually called the 5th Mantimahle. The 5th Mantimahle was one of the easier Mantimahle's to identify and that's definitely not him. He's obviously not one of the darker maned ones and he's not Sharp Eyes either since there is no under bite/lip protruding, definitely not 5th so It's Orange Mane.

It always seems to involve a female, I can relate.

I wonder if he had a bad experience with a vehicle in his youth which triggers an aggressive response when he sees one? Agreed the previous instances all seem to involve being protective of females during mating sessions but there have been so many examples of him growling and charging vehicles now compared to most other lions who totally ignore their presence. Seems to be too much to just be dismissed as coincidence.

Or he didnt had contact with them in his youth, so he didnt "socialize, on top of that he is prob more agressive/protective male then normal.

I remember Ngala rangers saying they feel uneasy when Tyson Ross males was around vechicles, despite him being use to vechicles since he was cub, now imagen he was not, you get this guy.

Honestly, at this point rangers should know him and be more careful when approching him with open roof vechicles full of tourists.

My exact thoughts. It's negligent of the tour guide to not be aware of individuals like this male and his dislike of vehicles up-close while around a female, especially in an open-top vehicle.

The Last Old Mantimahle seen this morning with the same 2 young males hes been seen with lately. They could possibly be his sons from S21/Renosterkoppie but still not sure.

OK so Old Mantimahle wasn't seen with H5 pride just near H5. Just with these 2 young males in all sightings. I found a video from 2022 of the Same old Mantimahle with a lioness and young male. Seems it could be this guy in the Bush today.

A friend had pics of these 2 younger. Can fully compare with the young male in video with last mantimahle and lioness in 2022 and it is same male for sure.
