There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Like Father like Son ?.

In the Left first photo is the Famous Kruger male lion at Buffulshok North Sabi Sand 2022 .

The Right one belong to one of the older Othawa/Robsons male lions known of ( Stompie back to 2013 near Skukuza ) .

So our Kruger male have blood of our Othawa pride bloodline?? .

Assuming this was him. Sighted this morning (for us in SA) on the H3. Message from Latest Sightings WhatsApp group:

"Lion injured from what looks like a snare. Please send it to the relevant authorities. It is on H3 between Afsaal and jock safari lodge roughly 2km south of jock safari lodge. 6:15am"

Guy wasn't aware he had been treated already. In any case, he was sighted still stationary in the same area mid afternoon as well, about 4 hours ago.
