There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

@"Timbavati" Yeah bro my friend Louis at Jock Lodge has said he has spotted these h2-2 males with another big male west of their concession on a couple occasions unfortunately he couldn't get a pic so there could be a similar situation to darkmane avoca and northern avocas as we don't know see much of these guys anything is possible.

@"Brahimlegend" , my friend, I had no idea a parasite could do that, but that could explain the fact that two of these brothers, as you mentioned have a similar issue, one with the left eye and one with the right. A bit odd, for sure.

I don't ever wanna see one of these one-eyed lions lose their second eye as well, I'd hate it if we lost an otherwise fit and healthy lion due to losing both eyes.

The Afsaal/South Shishangeni male is such a gorgeous beast. A very dark-maned specimen.
