There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Somebody on FB said that there is 4/5 subs there sired by S. Avocas, should be around 1.5 yrs old.

Yes, would make sense since the next oldest subs were all run off by these same S. Avoca males, the offspring of the Mantimahles, including the current Plains Camp Nomads.  Any younger offspring were then sired by the Avocas.  The Plains Camp Boys are now at least 4?  Anybody know what year and month they were born?  This pride is not filmed any, so wouldn't surprise me if nobody is sure of their exact ages.

Based of some early photos of them, Plains Camp males should be born atleast around mid 2017 (maybe even late 2017) , so they are around 4 now.

I saw this photo on FB and people there had commented that this lion was the Three Tooth Tsalala.
I am not sure if it is indeed him. It didn't say where he was seen, just in Kruger, but it was pictured this week.
