There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

@sik94 it happened to Styx male in Sabi Sands not long ago, I saw the pic the next day him laying there in pool of blood similar to this s26. Also Mandevu 1/3 Topi males also got jumped by his pride females not long back and lost his testicle probably would have died also if vets didn't treat him. His brothers were around too and did nothing.

Great sighting today by Jock of the Last Mpondo male seen with 3/4 Jock sons on a buffalo kill on S23, apparently all being very comfortable with each other, hopefully this will stick.

Oh wow, that is a big deal then. He needs the partners, and they could likely use the guidance. Sounds almost like it has potential to become a Notch sort of situation. Am I reading into that correctly? I am not aware of any males, outside of the Notches to join up and make a coalition with their sons.

Nhena+NK and Lubyebye Sr. and his son(before the son disappeared) are a couple other examples.

Yes, great point, I forgot entirely about the Lubyebyes. Just shows the rarity of these events, for sure.
