There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

TANIA, THE CHACOAN JAGUAR THAT RETURNS TO THEIR ANCESTORS' HOMELAND.
⠀⠀⠀
The story of Tania's ancestors is the same story that marked the jaguar in Chaco.
In 1989, two cubs, one male and one female of around 6 months of age, are rescued from a ranch in the province of Formosa, in northern Argentina. Poachers most likely killed their parents. The owner of Tatú Carreta Zoo rescued these cubs and took them to Córdoba, where they grew up and bred. From there, their descendants traversed five Argentinian provinces until their great-granddaughter, Tania, returned to the same lands where her ancestors had lost their freedom, 31 years ago.
Tania, the Chacoan jaguar, returns to her land to rewrite the story of the jaguar in the Argentinian Chaco.
