There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Yeah, and 5 more seconds of the clip, we could have seen how well her injury is healing.

Saw a post of them last month (I believe?) and her wound appeared to be completely healed. Her top upper K9 is visible when her mouth is closed so it gives her an even more distinctive look outside of being a white lion.

My friend, it would be nice if could retrieve it and post it here for those like me who don't have facebook, instagram, etc.,  Happy

Thank you, very much for that information. I see in the video that it seems to be healing really well. Given the resiliency we have all witnessed in these creatures, I have no doubt that in time we may well see it healed almost entirely. The young Plains Camp Male is a perfect example of this, his face was shredded, and to see him now, there are no signs at all. Loonkito, in fact, may be the best example of this that we have seen. I think she will be just fine, and it is good to see.

The Nkuhuma male also had his cheek torn open in a similar way after a hunting accident. Which is now completely healed.

Speaking of surviving against all odds.
What became of the young lioness that had her throat torn open? I recall she was a styx lioness or something?

Wasn't that a Birmingham lioness that had a hole in her neck?
