Himalayan Brown bears are notoriously shy and very elusive. On a trip through Garhwal, I caught a glimpse of it on my way to Valley of flowers during my school days. Either I was severely dehydrated and hallucinated the whole thing, or I saw one of the most elusive big mammals on the planet. Any way, this group of guys wanted to document a Himalayan Brown Bear waking up from it’s hibernation. Take a look at this big male:
