There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

"How does one measure the success of male lions - is it the amount of territory held, or the number of prides controlled and how many offspring they sire?
However you measure it; we're sure the Avoca male lions have it.
As far as we know they control two (potentially three different prides), and they also traverse a large territory considering the coalition consists of just the two of them.
Last night, guests at@andbeyondkirkmanskamp were enthralled once again, as these male lions announced themselves with roars which were heard across our concession."
