OK, I deleted it...

They are some lions which have a typical "Asiatic lions face" (I feel so). But with this Indian photographer, - Asiatic or no-Asiatic lion ? - I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

he has mostly asiatic lions with some african lions the male in the first pic u posted is african for sure @Spalea

Yes, you're right...

But let us look at this one... The lioness seems to be an African one, IMO intuitively. But with the mention "Gir Forest Gujarat" on top of this photo, well ...

See the thing with these sort of gir lion FB fan photography page is that they don't own those images. They just collect & post... Many a time, it's African lions.

Well OK, it isn't very honest front them. I thought they, as being artist photographer, showed their work rather than pick up the work of other fellows.
