The Beast from the East! 

The regal Devraj seen recently. He is the most iconic Asiatic lion and at 10 years old is still holding a strong reign. His pride has just welcomed two new cubs, fantastic news!

About #1956 and many others: I like this kind of photos very much... I so often read that having been almost quite exterminated at the beginning of the XXth century, asiatic lions were now a consanguin specy, but thank to this kind of photos you often posted, I can see that asiatic lions seem to be clearly pure wild animals... The majestic Asiatic King Devraj..
He rules two lionesses in the Gir NP in India and he considered as one of the most beautiful male lions there. He has two new cubs who are still with their mother and have not yet met their father yet. Great and recent shot of him few days back.
