One older clip. Valmik Thapar, Fateh Singh Rathore and real stars of this video: Machali, Lady of the Lakes and her daughter with the same name. At 1:08 can be seen size of the carcass quite good. Nice dragging when younger tiger pulls the carcass to the better place to eat.

This individual killed an Indian Gaur and dragged it about 80 feet inside the thick vegetation. You can see the flies on the tiger's nose, which shows the kill was at least a couple of hours old. While not as strong as larger and heavier bears, big cats are quite powerful pound to pound and possess enormous dragging strength. A leopard being able to drag prey up the tree displays its strength. Big cats that are apex predators tend to take down more large prey than big cats which live in areas where there are more powerful predators. The leopard is capable of killing prey up to the size of kudu but rarely kill these animals as it is unable to drag a kudu up the tree and might end up getting rob of its food or even killed.

Well, more muscle is more strength, that´s clear. So if we take biggest bears and biggest cats, there is nothing to discuss really and I don´t see any point to compare these animals in that way. Then again we have bears at same size as are big cats and there it´s a different game. We all know what certain posters always say about differences of these animals and how their anatomy is evolved to different purposes. But if wee look at dragging for instance, big cats have really nothing to be ashamed. Close call. Even though so far I personally see that one video with a bear and bison carcass to be maybe most impressive I´ve ever seen. Who knows what big cats show one day, when there is some lucky guy with camera, time will tell. This latest video with lion from @Spalea is nice, but honestly that carcass is mostly skin and bones anymore, not as impressive as videos where carcass is still practically intact.

About #160: I know that the Cape buffalo's corpse was already more than started, but even with only the whole skeletton (look at the thickness of the horns) it isn't light. I didn't argue at all that it's a record... Just nice as you told. In some videos there are funny headlines and descriptions, there is one tiger video also with headline like "tiger drags gaur" etc... in video tiger drags some skin and bones, might have been a calf or last remains of some adult specimen, maybe 50 kg or something like that. Those are in some way funny headlines for videos, which are then kind of disappointments to watch and see the content. But this lion had really full belly, it looked like just eaten half of that carcass when it dragged the rest of it :) Those tug of war videos are amusing to watch time to time, I wonder how it would be if tigers and lions could have some harness... but in reality I don´t want to see that to happen. This kind of play is enough.
