There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

''Once again the project team set up a wait expecting to capture the culprit jaguar of the attack. Around 23:12 PM the jaguar returned to feed and got anesthetized on the spot. To the teams surprise the Jag was a big 110kg male. The capture procedures lasted until the dead of night ( Madruga or Madrugada ). This fact led the team to baptize him with the name Madruga. Madruga has been monitored ever since.''

'' The project is yet expecting to capture 2 more jaguars to complete the initial goal of monitoring 10 jaguars with GPS transmitter radios. Among the animals captured in July, the highlight is the largest male captured so far by the Project team. About seven years old the large male weighed 128kg and was found after preying on a heifer at Nossa Senhora do Carmo farm neighboring the São Bento farm and which has been giving great support to the project's activities in the region.''
