There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
About Neanderthal man; artists always draw him wearing heavy animal skins draped over his shoulders. No sewing needles have ever been found among Neanderthal remains. In a frozen environment, wearing animal hides in this fashion would not prevent a man from freezing to death. My thoughts: We must remember that the various human species are animals. Perhaps Neanderthal man was physically adapted to the cold and could survive even without the animal hides. In fact, an animal hide would not 'fossilize' so just how do we know they wore them?
