Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Born in 2011 this duo quickly became famous for their survival skills. When their pride was killed in 2012 by the Selati pride the only surviving member, lovely referred to as Aunty Charleston, took the two youngsters under her wings and accomplished the impossible by raising them to independence. Having grown into really big and beautiful male lions they took over the Southern pride and later went into Kruger to conquer another pride. Sadly in May 2019 one of them had to be put down due to an acute lameness in the hind quarters caused by either a subluxation of a thoracic vertebrae or a disc prolapse. The remaining Charleston male managed to maintain his dominant status over his pride till today that currently has a handful of sub adults. They’re often seen along the S65.
