There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Tadoba lake has been like that since mid 2010 and not much has changed, just different males have replaced the ones that have been pushed back from hefty battles. Mukki of 2015 and 2016 has been like that and surprisingly, no one has tried to finish one another. they have learned to co-exist with the usual fights here and there, Male tigers are not ruthless fighters and will avoid any unnnecessary conflict. the only sad part is that females in these areas will never get a successful litter. look at Maya from Tadoba, she has never managed to raise a successful litter as a result of this. Umarjhola and all the other females of Mukki will never truly have a successful litter either (very rare that any of the cubs from Mukki will survive to see adulthood). the area is not big enough for 4 ruling males.
