There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Some say he is the present day alpha and the biggest male of the park, a park which has been known for it's big sized aggressive male tigers.
Though not at all a shy male, he is rarely sighted and his sightings remain scanty because of the huge territory he controls. And I hadn't been fortunate enough on my previous visits to have caught him. This time around however, he compensated for all this while I had been missing him.

"Minh Le even I don't agree with the common view that M1 is perhaps the 'biggest' now... Having sighted all the males you've mentioned in your comment, I would definitely say he's longer than M3 and 67, saw him at length. M1 has a disproportionately smaller head ?, and yes both M3 and 67 are taller than him agreed. But would differ re Z1. He doesn't stand a chance (only re size) anywhere near these males. In fact he is just marginally bigger than DB2.
Separately I feel in terms of sheer size, DB3 and present day Balwan can match upto that league of big bracket males. DB3 is very young and with his present built and age on his side he can definitely grow into that category. Some wouldn't agree, some would...imho he has already outgrown most males of the park (including M1)
