There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I dont think they are that old (unless theres some evidence of that), they sired Nharhu males in 2014, which means they prob took River pride in Klaserie around that time, maybe in 2013, and if we assume they where around 5 yrs old then, that would meant they where born around 2008, which is still impressive, as would meant they are atleast around 13 yrs old atm, age which very few male lions reach.
Is there any older photos of them, from younger age?
Could be the most likely scenario. I heard from a Klaserie guy they were born in 2005, I've doubt it. Although if I had to lean towards one it would be 2007. That's what i told to Umbabat owners a few years back while I help them with lion census in their area. I will talk with a friend who has spend his life in Klaserie. Let's see if the first guy was correct or not.
