There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

2 wonderful looking boys, nice to see BYM's injuries are healing. These 2 are related as BYM came from same pride as TYM's fathers.
Gotta say, the Birmingham pride has one the strongest bloodline of any other pride in Kruger. Matimbas, Bboys and much more.
I believe you might be hard pressed to find another pride that has had as big of an impact on lion dynamics as the Birmingham Pride, could not agree more. That tail injury must really be painful, given the amount of swelling. We had a cat that got his tail bitten once, and it was very similar to this, only smaller scale obviously. It was so painful he would meow in pain every time his tail swayed, and he came absolutely unglued when the vet even just touched it.
