There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Coalitions of Kruger National Park

The 6 Nkulhu males always together are forming a very huge coalition... And with them, after having escaped to a brutal death, great return of a veteran, Dreadlocks.

" A male lion coalition that needs absolutely no introduction, are the mighty Nkulhu males of Sabi Sands.

Recently, they took the old De La Porte male, Dreadlocks, as part of their coalition, making them an astonishing 7 male lions in total.

The Southern Avoca males in Sabi Sands, singled Dreadlocks out one night, and attacked him, and nearly killed the well known male lion. Dreadlocks somehow survived the attack, and re united with the mighty Nkulhu males. A revenge mission was one the cards.

Again, the old De La Porte male lion was found alone, and badly injured, with no sign of the Nkulhu's in sight. Is it possible that the Tshokwane/Mazhiti males will get to Dreadlocks first this time, as he finds himself in their prime territory? Or will the Nkulhu's come to his aid once more, and rescue the old veteran De La Porte male?

One thing is for sure, these 6 Nkulhu males are growing in confidence daily, and that's a dangerous thought, and brings back many memories on their ways of doing things.

Numbers, Strength and experience combined.......big BIG trouble, for all male lions around.....
