There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

When it died it was 16,5 years old, weighed 182,5 kg, when I asked from zoo, they said that it was about 220 kg in his prime condition. In opposite enclosure there are siberian tigers and I have to say, that Mohan didn´t look like to be smaller in any way when going from one enclosure to another. It got cubs, hopefully some future generations descending from it would be able to run free and wild some day. It is one of the best looking Asian lions I have ever seen.

This male seems to have impressive front leg, nice to see when mane is not hiding upper part of it as so often is the case.
