• The case of shifting two tigresses from Ranthambore waiting for the court clearance.
• The situation will be clear only after the court hearing, today on November 12.
  

Experts are concerned about MT-1 getting lonely. Longevity of single tigers in the jungle are often below average. It is believed very necessary for a male tiger to be have multiple mates. Back when he was T-91, he was captured in Ramgarh forest by playing recorded calls of a female. 
All preparations are in place for shifting tigresses T-99 and T-102 from Ranthambore. But the Rajasthan High Court had ordered a hold on further tiger shifting to the new reserve, as the petition filed against shifting of T-91 without NTCA's nod, was still pending.


Special training has also been given to the staff, while the two are being tracked & monitored. Enclosures are also ready in the reserve area and arrangements have been made for the prey-base augmentation.
Permissions have been granted by NTCA to relocate 100 chitals from Bikaner, 50 chitals, 60 Black deer and 40 sambar deer from Delhi zoo.
Yesterday 25 pairs of Nilgai & cheetal were released. Reply
