There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Old lions usually end up like this.
The Matimbas will have no problem establishing themselves in the west as long as its vacant. The area is accessible from only 1 side so whoever is in there is in a relatively safe spot and shielded away from most competition.
I think they won't have a problem either. It would be difficult if say the birminghams sneaked down and established themselves, but the territory was vacant and the matimbas somehow managed to sneak in and entrench it. There's only one frontier to defend. Wheras londolozi is kind of like Germany and flanked on all sides by potential rivals. The western sector is nicely boxed off and it's going to take someone coming in to force them out. Possibly birminghams? chances are they are happy with what they got. If I was a betting man, I'd say matimbas will hold out until death...but it can all change....all it takes is a lone lion to run off over excited and get mauled a la kinky tail or take on a buffalo and get horned. There's so many variables to consider.
