If new males come in who are already 5-6 year old, the majingalanes would either abandon ship without any resistance or one might get killed in the confrontation. The majingalanes won't stick around, the sons though would probably try to stay with the pride. There could be a week or two at minimum time difference between the new males defeating the majingalanes and the new males expelling the sons from the prides. The new males would initially target only the majingalanes, the prides and any majingalane offspring would be secondary targets. Unless the sons take it upon themselves to run off with the majingalanes or get involved with the takeover itself, I don't see it happening. Reply
