There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Yes, and that's exactly what he did. What I thought was most interesting was the detail about his age and weight, data that can be helpful in the future as reference.

We all know that bears are incredibly strong, but I was still amazed at the strength of this grizzly bear as he maneuvered a one ton bison carcass through the Yellowstone River. This is the same 400+ pound grizzly who claimed this carcass 4 days ago. The big bear was still there today, chasing off another bear in the early morning when he dared approach the carcass too closely. The old grizz is working hard to keep this prize to himself and I have a feeling he'll be successful....at least I hope so.
