You are right, I don´t take seriously any claims about healthy and fit lions weighing 800-1000 pounds, those are all utter nonsense. If you want to show fat and unhealthy lions, which are grossly overfed, that is another thing. 

My advice is, that consider carefully what you post here, because if you focus to nonsense, then moderation will happen. Idea here is to be able to discuss freely, disagreements are ok when both sides are able to give good arguments and act civilized. But if someone starts to post well-known nonsense, then situation is different.

I don´t know you too well, but sometimes you walk on quite thin ice, imo. So please look at things and try to give good reasoning if you post something, which can be considered extraordinary. A fit lion weighing 270 kg can be considered already exceptional, 300 kg would be world record lion in wildlife, so far heaviest commonly accepted weight has been 272 kg.

So if you post something, it is good to remember that. I don´t start now any debate, if you post too much old well known and unconfirmed or fake cases, it will be stopped at some point. Idea here is to find and share good information, not circle around nonsense again and again and again in neverending cycles. Reply
