You probably want to post the video in the Lion predation thread.
That lioness probably gets up around 12' to take down that sub adult Giraffe. I have no doubts a big cat can go higher than 10' if they have to. Big difference between hunting in the wild and calmly swiping at a little chunk of meat.
10' is only the height of a Basketball hoop, lions are roughly the same body length as average human beings, I'm sure a much more athletic cat is going to jump higher than a human being.  Reply
