There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
A captive tiger such as we can often see in the (bad) zoos with emaciated flanks. A lot of captive tigers, getting old, have this condition: they suffer from the pelvis.
This tiger is not mistreated (the fur has neither bedsores, nor grazes). On the other hand its food certainly unbalanced, always the same. And above all this tiger is boring to death. The aim of the zoo is also to distract and entertain his animals. Apparently this tiger doesn't never see its keepers except for taking food or changing cage.
It is getting bored, all the day long. I think it comes to depression.
