There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Quote:The belief is that the Talamati Pride killed the zebra during the night and early in the morning the Talamati Lionesses returned to the kill with their cubs only to find the Nkuhuma Pride, two Avocas, and the Mhangeni Male and Nkuhuma Male at the carcass, and as the Talamati cubs did not have blood on them to suggest they were feeding like the Lionesses did, it is believed the Lionesses went to fetch the cubs. When Jors arrived at the sighting, one of the Avocas was fighting with the two young males. The Nkuhumas and the Avoca with the injured leg [the “Blond-maned” Avoca] ran upon the sight of the other lions (with the Avoca likely not wanting to risk further injury). The Talamatis (3 of the 5 Lionesses and 6 of the cubs) did not stay long and headed back towards the Manyeleti. The Avoca who fought with the two young males [the “Orange-eyed” Male] got quite a beating from the two younger males during their fight.
