There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Sometimes coalitions that find themselves outnumbered just withdrawn from the area the challengers are in. This way they can still remain dominant for a while without challenging their invaders. Like the Birmingham Boys did when the Northern Avocas invaded. It may be that the BDM males are empoying a similar tactic.
Though in the long term its not a good strategy as the only way you can win if the enemy lions fall victim to illness or hunting accidents. Or if they give opportunities to take them out one by one. Eventually you will run out of land to retreat into. The pride is not going to accept any more loss of hunting grounds and you end up losing everything anyway.
As for the Ndhzengas. A conflict should not be ruled out as they are still neighbouring coalitions.
While a direct takeover of a pride is very unlikely to happen, conflicts over territory are still possible.
And even if that does not happen, its not like they are going to greet eachother politely if they run into eachother.
