There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Surely there must have been quite a few instances where a male lion(s) has killed offspring they had unknowingly sired. I remember hearing about a Mapogo situation with the Styx Pride when they were with the last Rollercoaster Male, it was said he had for sure fathered the 3 elder cubs at the time, but the last 7 were either his, the Mapogos or a combination. Didn’t follow up with it but I’m guessing the Mapogos ended up killing quite a few if not all of them when they could have very well been their offspring or atleast related to a member of the coalition, obviously the RC male believing they were his wouldn’t have helped the cubs.
