There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Looking good. Hope they establish in the area and spread the Black dam pride blood in the SS
Just to get it 100% correct their father had older brothers that left the giraffe pride before him bc of their age and his brothers are not Mohawk darkmane blondie and the southern Avocas fathers their fathers are the old avoca males was it 2 old avocas and 4 giraffe males?
The father of the Black dam males is the youngest Giraffe male born in 2011. The Avoca/Giraffe males (his older brothers) made a coalition between them. The Giraffe male born in 2011 was slighlty younger than the others and spent most of his time on his own (Altough he was seen with the others males often). When Thornybush fence was dropped, he took-over the Black dam pride and fathered numerous litter of cubs. For more information about them have a look in the Timbavati thread
