There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

They had buffalo now. But next times they will go hungry if they catch more normal prey. Just to feed two males that evidently have no interest in protecting them. Even worse. Nhenha may still try to kill them later.
Now that nhenha has met the girls and hopefully feeds then he shouldn’t be so aggressive toward them in the future (hopefully)
The girls are showing to be excellent huntresses…having a male around s will help them keep their kill and not lose it to hyenas.
I’d love to see pictures on Tumbela and his girls hunting the buffalo.
There’s a cool story about some skeleton coast lions, there were 2 young orphan Cubs and they made it to a bird nesting ground and survived by hunting birds and eventually scavenging and hunting seals and other bigger game. They are now adults and one of the orphan sisters has 3 Cubs!
Their mother’s death was shown on a BBC series…I think planet earth? The auntie adult lioness rejected them.
The Ottawa girls are more then likely hunting a lot of small game. They learned just enough from Sassy so her influence is helping these girls survive.
I do wonder if they climb trees to get away from hyenas?
