There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Maybe some defensive posturing or some growling, definitely no physical contact or chasing intruders cuz that would be crazy.
There was a video I've seen when the 5 Selati males were still with their natal pride and together with their moms and aunts made a pretty big statement to an adult male. The youngs boys even stayed back when the lionesses walked away from the now laying down, submitted male and showed the male who was boss. If I find the video ill link it here
Here's a newer video of the original with clippets of the video im referring to. Apparently the adult was Dominant Toulon.
I have seen that video before and It wasn't anything to do with the Selaties or the Toulon males. There are atleast 7 young males, probably 8 in that video. Selaties weren't 8 at any point so this video is just plain wrong and they aren't Selaties. The whisker pattern of the male doesn't match dominant Toulon either.
