There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Just take everything they say with a pinch of salt and try to corroborate it with your own research before fully taking it on as fact.
A pound of salt would be better, lol. I think they're wildlife enthusiasts with lions and their dynamics being part of that at the very least. They are in that environment 24/7 over years sometimes and if we equate that to how proficient we become in our chosen professions over time it's startling that misinformation in theirs is so rife. They may not be on the internet daily to keep updated on what's going on but remember the information the internet is getting is coming from guys like this and not the other way around. It's not like a guide at Ngala is coming onto the internet, reading about the Ross males and going, "oh wow, now it makes sense", now is it?
They literally have their boots on the ground, a network of guides around them that they are familiar and socialize with at times. It's not too much to expect that they are familiar with the wildlife on their properties. I mean, what are they then telling the guests that splurge an arm and a leg to go there? In contrast to the highly specific game reports coming out of Mala Mala, for example, it all appears to be a little amateurish these days.
