There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Could be plenty of reasons.
Just a few hours later they were found mating somewhere else, so that lioness was far less of a hassle than orchestrating a full take over.
The North is also not their home turf, so they may have wanted to do more scouting to see who else is up there first. Which is what we may be seeing now.
They also may have simply gotten distracted or something.
That particular event was also not that long ago, so they may still decide to take over the Mhangeni later.
I just don't think this is it yet. The chances that the Mhangeni are in that area is very slim. Seeing the Avocas and Birminghams are close.
