There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Othawa male probably felt confident enough to invade MalaMala, confidence similar to that one when he left the ottawa pride to take over his own, the manghenis but he knew there are 2 strong foes on the other side as I heard he ventured into birminghams territory more than once and even got chased by the 2. So the fact he continued venturing into that area dominated by 2 adult males shows at least he was confident trying to expand his area (or maybe even naive by knowing he was on disavantage and by knowing very well who he was up against) and by the moment of his death he might had an even bigger motivation to venture deeper into the birmingham area than before, maybe this time he picked the scent of one of the lionesses from MalaMala that was nearer where he was in the moment and in addition to that he could've even been lured by one lioness following her to mate which might have led him to venture even further in depth into the birmingham males territory, one area he has never gone this far before which was where he was doomed and the Avocas better stay alert in case they decide to venture into Birmingham males areas, they better do it together.
One thing I gotta say about the Ottawa male regardless of what really happened to him is that this dude was a big and a very brave warrior, holding a pride all alone with no coalition partner... not all male lion take such a risk.
