There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

That limp doesn't look great, hopefully it is superficial and nothing serious.
I don't know if that is going to ever get better or not, but not sure now is such a great time to be challenging the B-Boys. Even if he is with Mohawk at the time, he could get singled out and be the one taking the brunt of the damage, as a result Mohawk could well end up alone.
There’s really no comparison between what the Ottawa Male did with what the Avocas have been doing now for over a year now. I hate to say this, but OM did what was equivalent to committing suicide. I’ll never understand it and it makes his death that much more difficult to accept.
People will make these comparisons because it seems similar but the two completely different situations, goals, experience levels, strategy, and even their attachment to their current prides and territories is completely different.
I’m not saying the Avocas aren’t at risk. But I’m not fully convinced they really are motivated to conquer Mala Mala. With new cubs their goals might change and maybe what happens is that the Nkuhuma pride gets a bit more territory to move around it. I hope so... the Nkuhumas are really the best pride and stable home for the Blondie/Mohawk.
