There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

He was fine with Mhangheni pride, in 2 years or so as dominant male he didn't have to deal with any intruders, and he would prob still be dominant of that pride for some time, yes, eventually he would prob lost that as lone male, as new and bigger coalition would come inevitable..
But what you are saying was not a problem in this case, as he didnt lost his territory/pride because of numbers, he challenged other males..
He challenged other males as a lone male though, had he not gotten 'trapped' by the mhangeni pride as a young male he wouldn't have had to do this alone.
