There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
The Kambula pride. ~ It's getting harder and harder to tell who's with who and where all the pride members are. All 6 lionesses are rarely seen together and they’re mating with coalitions other than the Gowrie males. The subadults are wandering around in small groups. Subadult males are often found by themselves. Added to these factors is the dense bush and flowing seep lines, adding to the already challenging task of tracking this pride. With all of this in mind, trying to understand and keep tabs on the pride dynamics currently is pretty much a futile task. We may have to wait for the dry season to eventually figure out the Kambula pride’s dynamics.
