Guides also talk about body size of Tumbelas and Junior Othawa. Also they mantion that some time ago Othawas have fight with Styx pride.
This live is exactly why we should sometimes take things with a grain of salt. Obviously sometimes they are definitely right but sometimes their info isn't always correct. Examples being Junior is around 2 and half years old not 3 and the 3 youngsters are almost 2 not between 2 & 3. Sassy is not 6 or 7, she is 5 and a half. The 3 Youngsters are not Majingilane blood but Matimba. Most of what was said was not exactly incorrect but more or less roughly answersed. So in terms of Dynamics and comparisons, they might be more right but not always when it comes to info.
That's why don't take what the guides say at face value, they are used to oversimplify stuff for visiting clients that don't care about the nitty-gritty of lion dynamics in particular. We probably know more than they do about each character and their history.
Indeed about their pride history giudes were all over wrong, but regarding lion's size in the arena I do not see reason to do not believe it. There is obviously variation in the size of wild male lions. Some are big, others are avarage and yet another are small. I do not see anythink unbelievable in what guides has said about Junior's and Tumbela's size.
