There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Anyone got any lodges or rangers report on his disappearance in the end of 2012?
There: http://tintswaloguides.blogspot.com/2012/12/ you can find Tintswalo raports from that peroid of time. Nduna however by that time mostly spent his time in Kruger from which there are no updates and what exactly happened to him can only be speculated. It is unknown.
Stompie is one of the Dominant male Lions in the area. we refer to him as stompie because he only has half a tail. Stompie means stump. He frequents Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge and Imbali Safari Lodge. He also moves right the way up to Talamati Kruger Camp. Stompie recently mated with a Lioness that is believed to have given birth to three healthy cubs! Stompie is not quite as timid as other male Lions are, he is very relaxed with vehicles. The last time Stompie was seen was on Thursday this past week. He has a nasty limp and we believe this to possibly be Osteo Arthritis. His age is estimated to be approximately 9 years. (written October 2012) Last seen in mid 2013.
