There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Very rarely it happens when with equal numbers, but sometimes it does when youngster(s) is/are powerfull indyvidual like Charlestons or Mbiris.
All those mentioned lions where older then this 2 males, they where atleast 4 yrs old and already nomadic for some time and in the phase of searching for their territory, this 2 are not in that phase yet..
Mbiris weren't yet 4 when they beat up Mapoza males and just over 3 when they chassed single Mapoza male. Charleston male was just over 3 when he fought Sand River male. Othawa male was just over 3 when he was roaring in Londolozi. I do not remember when Ross males were born, but in mentioned fight they were yet nearly maneless youngster. Also there we speak about defending themself, not terrytorial challange so also different kind of situation.
