There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

As stated earlier in this thread, I'm in agreement. The lack of any documented physical evidence - aside from footprints - makes it
difficult to support the theory bigfoot exists. But, with so many sightings from diverse locales over several centuries, it makes for an
interesting argument.
Not really, if it has never been documented by actual experts or photographed by now, its not really a question to me. There is a reason that the Lochness monster was never seen, a yeti, a whale eating squid, a fire breathing dragon etc.
Humans have a tendency to exagerate when they see something astonishing and especially during a time when they may go through their entire lives without ever having seen such a creature.
Imagine seeing a massive grizzly but never knowing that they existed before. You would describe it as a giant monster with huge teeth and a deafening roar. Imagine that image is told down through the generations, it would only get more exagerated. There was no internet, no books, no wild life biologists, just your word. Thats why they call them "fish tales", we love to make things bigger or crazier than what they really are.
