There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I do not believe in aliens at this time.
Please note the most important word in that sentence. "Time"
What I mean is this...
Look at the time the Galaxy as been around for that we know of.
13 billion years or so according to the furthest light visible in the known universe from the Big Bang.
Now look at the factors that had to come into play for life to come into existence then look at how many different evolutionary events had to occur before human beings came to be. To think that another planet had similar events happen during the same exact time frame (or relatively close) is impossible to truly comprehend. The odds of all factors needed to create life happening at the same time are astronomical. It's probably the equivalent of winning the lotto 100 times in one lifetime or far less likely.
That being said, I certainly think life has existed before and will again after our lifetime. The few million years it took for human intellect to evolve compared the the billions of years the universe has been around is nothing, our time is nothing more than a flash in the pan.
I'd also like to rephrase what I meant by "aliens"
I really mean, life capable enough to create comparable technology that can travel through space and really technology far greater than our own to travel light years.
I absolutely think there is life on other planets at this moment but the term "life" is very broad.
It could be bacteria to giant dinosaurs and everything in between or beyond.
